Medical Assistant - Full Time, Days.
Duties:
Duties:
- Perform administrative and clinical tasks to support healthcare professionals in a medical setting.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist with procedures.
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with collecting specimens.
- Assist with patient education and provide instructions for at-home care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant certification preferred or valid Florida CNA license.
- Bilingual Spanish/English REQUIRED.
- Proficient in medication administration and basic life support techniques.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care and maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
